A Facebook Phone? No voice calls on the application Messenger

Voice messages are activated via France iPhone application Facebook Messenger

Facebook today began testing a new feature on its Messenger application. This test is happening in Canada and you imagine that Canadians can now make free calls via Faceook Messenger from the moment they have a Wi-Fi or 3G connection.

For the moment, this only works with the Messenger application for iPhone, but the coming of the test phase, if it is convincing, then Facebook could extend these voice calls for Android devices.

But then, what does it mean that? We will all be able to call in via Facebook Messenger?

Although somehow we could say that, like Skype for example, the main competitor of this principle. So, Facebook should probably ask additional things like our phone number for example.

Communications are communications VOIP, I guess you know the principle.

So finally, this Facebook Phone, it arrives?

I did not much can be wrong in the title of the article because, if you look closely, you may have more friends on Facebook than you do on Skype so if it can be called via Facebook Messenger easily, looking on our smartphone if the contact is online or not, it is perhaps not far from a non-Facebook Phone?

We will wisely wait until the end of the test phase in Canada to see if Facebook gives everyone the opportunity to make voice calls from the Messenger application.
